Hmmm maybe if he has that attitude towards her, it’s his kids that he wants back. Not actually Olivia, but the family he had, and she is necessary for that purpose. Otherwise, why would he care so much? I know he liked her in their academy days, but he also neglected her, even this life left her to the mercy of his mothers (till they let her escape), and basically left her all alone while she felt like she was dying and in recovery after giving birth to his kids.
