Tsukishiro Yuina, a singer who lost her voice in a traffic accident, felt hopeless. She had possessed the body of the novel’s villainess, Ariadeline. To make matters worse, it was at the point where the main protagonists were already married, and Ariadeline had been condemned. Even in the world of the novel, her miserable situation didn’t improve. Yuina (now Ariadeline) decided to take her own life again, but this time she was stopped by her former husband, Carlothian. “I don’t want you to die.” Even though he was the one who killed her in the original story, Carlothian repeatedly interfered with Ariadeline’s attempts to end her life. “Why won’t you kill me like you did in the original story…?” Thus begins the tale of the villainess who lost her dream, Ariadeline, and her tsundere former husband, Carlothian, as they attempt to redo their misunderstood love story.

I could only read up to Chapter 23 because it was that bad. The writing is atrocious. I love a suicidal villainess but I absolutely hate the ml in this and I also really hate how shallow everything is. Like the author read a lot in the genre and just copy/pasted. The ml is the bad not only in personality but in action and art.
The fl started off interesting but quickly became that saintly shoujo character. I like my villainesses to have edge. There’s not much of a point in a villainess who isn’t a bamf.
I hear people saying it got better. It might. But up to chapter 23 was as far as I could take it. Every time they push the romance I start feeling sick to my stomach. This needed a better author. This one is not good. The art could have been forgivable if the story was better.

I actually like the story. Comments say otherwise… but I like the “please kill me” trope. Ml is a little unreasonable but he literally hated the og villainess for a good reason. He realizes fl is mentally ill and softens a little bit. Fl is really nice; and this shows that if you’re going to die, make an impact. Why would she want to die an evil, rude, witch? She loves singing, and just like me, singing is breathing for her. It’s vital. She wanted to die in this world bc her voice was gone due to pressure of wounds. She comes back every time ml kills her so he stops. When she gets her voice back she gains a will to live bc she has a passion for singing.

People saying she wants to be killed then why is she being nice.. like seriously that’s just her personality and on top of that she seems to have been returning back to past more than 100 times. It’s still amazing that she hasn’t gotten crazy. And still trying to kill herself.

i would NOT recommend this story if u have high blood pressure. I can’t explain how much i hate the ml and how stupid the fl is. She’s strong yes, but when it comes to the ml she’s pathetic.

The female lead is stupid, as are all female leads who try to follow the plot. What do you mean the original character got killed because she’s too evil and showed no regret, but you think you being nice and showing you’ve changed will get you killed like the original? If she was serious about dying she could just attack the saintess, I’m sure they would kill her like yesterday, especially her piece of shit husband

It’s so frustrating to be a reader who had to see the end of the fl being with her killer/abuser. Why do authors normalize forgiving abusers? I’ll only read the chapter where he will regret everything and stop reading again if she forgives him. I don’t want to see him living happily with the fl🙄
