I think her very first life was traumatic enough that she when she was reborn into the new life, it cropped up when she experienced another trauma. It was seen as dissociative disorder but it was her remembering her trauma from her first life. So she dies and thinks that she’s essentially living in a fictional narrative because due to the compounded trauma, the curse, and her coping skills, she both blocked out her memories and created a level of distance by keeping the identities separate..

So she thinks she’s turning back time to physically fix things (a time before the princess) but the spell was a memory recall to her past – her very first life
.
So now all the memories are coming back and trying to fully integrate and since they’re tied to her trauma, she’s trying to cope by rejecting/creating distance (bc she held on to her memories of her family but blocked out her death, she remembers her life as a Korean, but blocked out the details of dealing with her fans and death)
.
So essentially as she remembers, and acknowledges that these events happened to her, her emotions are starting to catch up with her as well

Sorry, but I don’t get it. She knew before that he killed her. I understood she was shocked when her memories returned. But shouldn’t she have left then? Why does it seem now that this is a new memory?
Is it because of her trauma or the mixed memories of her different lives? Or something new?
I’m just really confused right now…
