I agree with @babybee. However, be forewarned, the beginning is hard to read. Especially if you have also been abused. I’ve reread this story a couple times and I still get teary eyed. That being said, I love this and it’s very rewarding to see her grow from being traumatized and broken into a happy, loved and strong little girl. Her family is too cute. I love her relationship with her brother and sister and dad. Her doctor is also great.

I am so happy they didn’t just talk about her trauma for a couple of chapters then skip ahead to after she’s over it. Doing that just feels like bad writing. I love hurt comfort and this hits just right. She’s healing over time and I get to watch her grow through it and root for her. That’s what i want out of a good story. I can’t wait to see how this story progresses im so excited!!
