Am I the only one that feels like she isn’t blaming him at all? It feels like complete self loathing on her part and like she is stepping away because she feels like it’s the least she should do given that she was in the wrong and he’s obviously trying to put space between then. Do I think she should have apologized, yes. However I also understand giving the person the space they deserved especially when it seems like they want to keep you at a distance. It would be extremely selfish to keep seeking him out and forcing her apology on him just because she likes him. That’s way less considerate of his feelings in my opinion.
Not saying I want him to chase her, but I do think the only way they will get anywhere is if it becomes known that he is open to talking about it. Whether that be then running into each other and him asking or him finding her and asking for an explanation. But I absolutely think she doesn’t have the right to seek him out anymore which she obviously understands

@gemini Right! Just imagine putting yourself in that situation by your own choice and then blaming someone else for your actions. You hurt someone, but suddenly your feelings are the most important and the ones no one understands. You say you love them, yet you don’t actually try to fix things you just take everything for granted. Honestly, I don’t see anything romantic in this where the ML is the one who has to crawl back. I don’t support this kind of behavior from either FLs or MLs, it’s like they strip them of all reasoning. That’s exactly why I dropped it.
