The one who was a psycho and obsessed with his empress to the point of killing her family and locking her up is now in this world, thrilled to death there is a living empress who loves him and is pregnant with his child.
We can only assuming the emperor who hated her and tried to abort his baby has likewise swapped places, and now happily finds himself in a world where he is empress-free and can marry whomever he likes, likely to the relief of the rest of the country, which has been neglected since the empress’s death.
