To add to my rant below, the class he is in is a talent-based class where students focus on developing their skills. I’m 100% sure there are a lot of theater kids in his class, and many of the male theater students, as well as some female students, wanted to audition for the role of the prince since it’s the lead role. For the class representative to dismiss all those people who took the time to audition for the role of the Prince just to push them aside and request someone who probably doesn’t even care about acting to play the prince. Is really unfair to the other students who actually wanted to be the Prince and had put in the effort to prepare and try out for the role. On top of that, the rep is also probably inviting Witch Raven to possibly the evil witch, another lead role that many students auditioned for. Prioritizing outsiders over talented classmates in a student production is selfish. Even though Thomas is a student, he has no interest in theater and was chosen simply for his looks, reinforcing the reality of “pretty privilege.
One thing I dont like in any TV shows, movies, anime, manhwa, manga, and manhua is when a character forces another character to do something that they don’t want to do. Whats even worse is when they start to guilt trip them, black mail them, or even bribe them with something the person wants. If someone doesnt want to do something for you don’t force them to. No matter how desperate you are. Forcing them to do something for you is just really selfish and I personally don’t like that.
