I get why she was being harsh, in her way she’s trying to protect her world…; though it seems like ShouShou, isn’t really part of that.
But its more the fact that she could’ve said that differently.
She was way too harsh to her daughter, and now that I think about it, maybe she was being like that in a way to protect her daughter in the long run.
Maybe she was making it seems that she is very disinterested in her. That way they don’t turn there disgusting evil eyes towards her. And that would keep her safe.
But the other hand the way Edwin is doing things is also annoying as well.
It seems like he is this horrible person, but doesn’t really know the full truth of what happen when he was younger. And is just lashing out at the world.
I also wonder if the whole time her mother was helping out the other side, maybe it was a way to also protect her love ones. And the fact that they were murder really push her to the edge of making sure that rash country of hers, get what’s coming for them,
