@happycatto, After re-reading this chapter I realised when I first read it the website glitched and some parts didn’t load. I realised I made an assumption based on the idea that she didn’t approach Eunhyuk after she saw his dad slap him and just expected him to come back to school. I acknowledge that my views were biased and I should have understood Sooae as a child not knowing how to approach a problem rather than my full-grown self. I guess I was upset seeing how much Eunhyuk did when she broke up with her ex but that still makes me biased in my own way. I have no beef with Dohwa only with the fact that he tried to kiss Sooae without her permission. When the conflict initially started in the classroom I was just frustrated cuz Sooae didn’t say anything at the time and went along with Eunhyuk (pretending that everything was okay). My experience with people who act like everything is okay is that it always either ends up in tragedy or they change for the worst. The dad is the real villain after all. Just wanted to clear that up- sorry…
The comment below me. What do you mean she made no effort? You blind or what? She was reaching out to him through msgs and calls, but no answer. When she went to his house, she saw him fighting with his dad. You want her to barge in there and cause chaos?
He left without giving her closure. That’s enough reason for her to be resentful. She was in an awful relationship before so she hoped with Eunhyuk she’s gonna be okay but he left suddenly like that. She understood his situation so she waited for him but bruh, nothing for 11 years? She’s a human too, yk. Humans are entitled to feel what they want or need to feel, if that’s how they need to move on. Believe me, when Eunhyuk comes back, he’ll apologise at some point because he knew what he did to Soo-Ae is wrong. Unless he became a different person.
With Dohwa, leave him alone okay? Soo-Ae didn’t know he has feelings for her. She was comforting him as any friend would. When she became aware of his feelings, she distanced herself. Notice how big the billboard of Dohwa is but Soo-Ae didn’t give a sht?
She doesn’t care anymore. Her going to work and wanting to leave already is a sign of her being lonely.
This chapter is giving “cheese in the trap” the manhwa had a similar ending so now I wonder if Eunhyeok is just going to move on with his life (I wouldn’t blame him cuz Sooae had no right resenting him for leaving when she made no effort to comfort him when things went down. And she was a hypocrite cuz she was there for Dowha when he WASN’T EVEN HER BOYFRIEND! She experienced her share of cheating too so her actions and justifications are absurd.) But in all honesty, I think she doesn’t deserve either of them. She should focus on living her life, maybe fall in love with someone else but after she APOLOGISES! I hate when fls victimise themselves to the point where they believe they can do no wrong- no babes, you need to hold yourself accountable when necessary. Wow, Sooae’s character in these last few chapters really disappointed me.
