People bringing up Eunhyuk’s family situation and saying they’re not “making excuses for him” are grasping for any little reason to push the same narrative that a sad/broken ML can do just about anything a be forgiven for it. Dohwa was being beaten by his father, working different jobs, living without a mother and still manged to remain friends with Su Ae until she had broken him down to tears because loving her hurt that much. I’m sorry, but am I the only one who noticed the STARK difference between Dohwa’s and Eunhyuk’s reaction to seeing Su Ae again? Dohwa immediately felt happy and relief, even comfort at meeting her again and eunhyuk seemingly unfazed and almost arrogant. I’m sure Eunhyuk had a reason to leave, I’m sure it’s a good one. But the fact is both Dohwa and Eunhyuk had problems but only one of them gave a legitimate reason to walk away. And Dohwa didn’t need to feel pity for her in order to develop feelings for her. he met her, knew her, and fell in love with her. Her cheating situation has nothing to do with it. and that right there is chemistry.

everyone is saying “oh dohwa should get a chance” or “don’t be blind by lust” I get it, euhyeok ghosted her for 10 years. But, at the time, him and his father were on bad terms and fought. I’m guessing he either one threatened to hurt su-ae or he forced him to leave…NOT SAYING IT’S AN EXCUSE but he should’ve at least told her before disappearing. Also dohwa no…respectfully but no. I have no reason, I’ve just never been a 2nd ml type of person.😀
Kinda new this was going to happen, Eunyeok is still the male lead by a long margin imo bcs he got the most angst and drama surrounding him like a typical ML, hot take but this story needed this hahaha gonna be interesting to see how Eunyeok and Sooae rekindle. Sorry not sorry about this but Dowha is plain boring hahaha
