In my own understanding, Elizabeth used time teleportation to save Ashlot from the dragon curse. To have her memories kept with her, the blond guy(that said to be the male protagonist in the book) that can pass memories to his next generations made a book where the whole events of Elizabeth’s life is written to it, and then his ability to pass memories passed it on Elizabeth so Elizabeth has a memories of her reading that book (so that she knew what will happen in the present events). (also the blonde hair made himself the male protagonist for the heroine Elizabeth is because she fell in love with her, so that Elizabeth will think that she must love or marry him because HE IS THE MALE PROTAGONIST) (but ASHLOT IS THE REAL PROTAGONIST) (she love her before the timetravel)
This chapter shows the events before the time teleportation. You can see the difference, the past she calls him Mr. Wizard, (after time travel) she calls him by his name. The past she said she don’t want to be alone so Ashlot choose teleport rather than helping those knights to fight the demon, (after time travel) she said that she is ok to stay and ask Ashlot to save those knights so the result is that the knights is saved and also she tamed the demon that turned into a cat. So the whole story is not about Elizabeth, the heroine in a book (because that book is only made to make Elizabeth have memories when they timetravel) . It is about Elizabeth timetravel just to save Ashlot from the dragon curse.
