Slow upload, finished reading the novel. I don’t like the ending. It was a cliffhanger.
– He & his twin are the last children of Cronus.
– His twin is alive.
– The watch that was from his twin, contained his twin’s essence. A part of him, but MC needs to face a lot of challenges to get his twin back.
– Their parents are alive but separated, he was able to get them back first then his twin.
– His twin ended up as the successor who orchestrated this whole thing. He is the representative of light, who kept his dear friend in the abyss to give peace to everyone’s sake.
– His twin symbolize as light and MC as dark/abyss. As what the manhwa portrayed their outfits and powers.
– MC ended up as the abyss’ successor which must be sent to the abyss alone and fight all demons to avoid chaos in Olympus and on Earth.
– Sskipped chapters because it was too long.
– MC didn’t end up with FL because he was forcedly sent to the abyss and stayed there voluntarily to keep the peace for everyone’s sake.
– But he does astral projection to see what everyone was doing, but others could not sense nor see him.
– Their parents got back together and stayed on earth. They were able to conceive another child.
– After his twin got to know of his situation, he went on a journey to retrieve MC back like he did to save him.
– His twin barely reached/got him back.
– When his twin did, FL was too old. On her deathbed. Either hers or her twin bro’s children & grandchildren stayed with her before she lost her last breath.
– By that time, she finally saw MC at the very back of all her grandchildren. She was sad and hurt after realizing that he was ALWAYS there with all of them, watching but could not even get back to them.

The cover really doesn’t match the characters though… I think those in the chapters are way cooler.

I like the novel more than the manhua. Maybe because the novel I read has a better english translation than the other. The english translation here is inconsistent. There are some parts in the manhua I skipped cuz.. I dunno, it felt like those parts are not as entertaining as the other parts. The art is a bit lacking compared to The World After the Fall and Omniscient Reader where you can almost feel the characters’ emotions and see their movements, it’s as if you’re “watching” instead of “reading”.
The story is good, it’s the reason why I had to look for the novel and found out the novel is much better.
If you’re sensitive to words like “demon”, “devil”, “evil”, or the like – better not read this. I was overwelmed by the amount of such words, maybe it’s one of the reasons why I had to skip some parts.
And the issue regarding mixed chapters has been fixed.
