I know he’s trying not to be a scumbag and she’s sort of into his kind of attitude but he is kinda a scumbag since he slept with her while she was drugged (even if he was too he had options before taking her to a room with him unsupervised according to the early chapters) he then kicks off another round when he definitely remembers the circumstances of the previous day (like if she burst into tears when they woke up it’d be obvious that he committed a crime). Overbearing dubious consent!Male Leads are certainly a thing for very specific people, our modern female lead included apparently.
