   This one is good because it involves two very flawed individuals circling each other.

   The male lead is rigid and desperate to be in total control of every aspect of his life, which includes hiding his need to control, since that is a weakness. It’s ironic that his need for control makes him lose control. While he puts on a formidable show of power, he cares far too much about what others think to truly have power. While he acts competently, he deceives himself too much to be truly competent. He does not allow himself to feel and lies to himself about his feelings so thoroughly that he is a stunted and hobbled creature at the heart of him, despite how perfect he seems on the surface. He may love the female lead, but he is nowhere near ready to acknowledge it even subconsciously, and instead retreats to trying to control her while he rigidly amputates all tender feelings that may affect him. He is oblivious and emotionally stunted, trying to gaslight others for being upset when he is the cause of their natural distress.

   The female lead was loved too much as a child. Not in the bad-touch way, but she was adored and cherished and had every need of hers met without ever needing to ask. As an adult, this has twisted because now, she assumes people closest to her will treat her well and as she deserves without having to insist upon it, and believes that any request she actually has to make herself is an imposition. This leads to her being taken advantage of, as she tends to just accept how her fiance treats her with an odd sense of befuddlement. She knows it shouldn’t be the way it is, but doesn’t know how to change it and be treated better. She also feels intensely burdensome whenever she does try to ask to be treated well. She can cut uppity outsiders down with a quip, but she is weak against those considered family, since she never learned how to navigate a dysfunctional close relationship where emotions are high.

   I like how complicated the characters are. I think fans of “The Flower Dance and the Wind Song” and maybe “What it means to be you” will like this one a lot. This has the same sort of “dysfunctional couple tries to work things out’ vibe. These two winding up together seems end game, so keep that in mind. I seriously hope the author doesn’t take the shortcut of depending on the pregnancy trope to link them back together but, again, it’s only chapter 15 as I write this.

   The storyline and the flow of this manhwa seems pretty realistic. I like how unlike a lot of other manhwas losing her father all of a sudden doesn’t miraculously make her an amazing merchant or something and she is struggling with her emotions which is how a person will actually behave in that situation.

   Your local Cupcake is right. I don’t even need to write the review because they said the right things.
   This isn’t an escapist romance story. Don’t read this if you are looking for unrealistic cute first time romance.
   The story, time it’s meant to emulate, and the reality in it – isn’t for you.
   Turn around now if you think you’re going to read some fluff pink cutie fantasy romance stuff and then want to just complain when the story isn’t like that. I think this is a fair warning to you. This is quite realistic telling about realistic people – and time period.

   They have updated till 13 chapters with 0 progress in the story. I really can’t deal with this story. Both parties refuse to communicate, hurt each other but acts like big shots. He is not trying to explain himself and when he tries she stops him (I don’t think I can blame her, things have piled up as she started to slowly lose her hope). I cannot support her either since she never tries to explain what exactly is going on. Marriage is not a joke. Both parties have to understand and respect each other. They have to adjust accordingly but this two……

   We shouldn’t judge so quickly… Just give it a fair try if you really want to read it…You might actually like it as the story progresses…😌
