Wth, no one can be blamed where you are born.. It is how you face life and handle it. Some even came from humble beginnings by working hard without doing evil. That is obviously karma to you. Navier is just lucky to be born rich with great parents but she became the greatest blessings to many. She paid it forward. But Rashta is always a trash no matter drama she throws
She knew exactly what she’s doing, being unfortunate in life doesn’t mean you should hurt random people who do nothing to you, yeah she’s desperate but trying to justify her actions is not it, now karma is coming for her, hopefully stupidshoe also get his deserving karma too, I hope he suffer the most actually
Instead of emperor she should have try to be on good side of empress then she should have been living a great life she bought it upon herself cause she is dumbbb after all karma is karma 🤣 its a story but still the women who think they will be happy after destroying someone else family deserve to have worst karma
I think Rashta can be a fairly complex character. She got a bad lot in life through no fault of her own and is a deeply tragic character in many ways, Her fall from grace is still mostly based on her own actions that were born out of both malice and ignorance. One of her defining traits is the refusal to take responisbility for her acions and to instead blame them on others. She’s spent large parts of the story feeling backed into a corner while desperately trying to keep the life and freedom that she has gained. She doesn´t care how many people she hurts in the process or if they’re guilty or innocent.

That line got me too. I 100% believe she is that delusional. From day one she believed gaining the Emperor’s favor entitled her to everything that our MC had and it wasn’t her fault other people got hurt by that. She reaped what she sowed and she can’t face that reality.
They can pity party her all they want. She’s vile and she’s shit for her actions. “I stole her husband, and I stole her position as empress so why am I getting punished?” Like is this a translation issue or is she that delusional? Regardless, I do not pity the wicked.

I agree to some degree. Her situation was unfortunate and it’s not wrong of her to desire happiness. But The moment she covet Navier’s position and things, is the moment she shot herself in the foot. Had she just stayed as a concubine and keep staying low, she WILL be happy even if not completely. And after that, it’s just pure greed coming from her.
Though i guess she was, also manipulated. Unfortunately naivety is a sin in palace struggle.
