I actually do feel a little bad for Rashta being forced to wear a plain dress. I’m sure most brides want to be dressed as beautifully as possible especially if budget wasn’t the issue. Her complex is growing more and more out of control due to her husbands fixation on his ex (dickwad needs to die painfully. Pinhead would be too good for him) and the duke pushing her to do certain actions and shaping her behavior. Her insecurity is literally being shaped by the people around her when originally she was fine being a concubine and just wanted to be accepted by the Queen and escape her slave life. I do wonder what the Duke’s aim is since he is shaping her behavior. I think its under Heinley’s orders, but does he have his own agenda?
@La vita Mia if im not mistaken duke ergy isnt helping, he’s manipulating her. like in one of the chapters he told her to wear the flamboyant dress (meant for celebration) to navier’s divorce when it isn’t appropriate to wear that. i think we’ll see more of her downfall w duke ergy’s “advice” for her.
