@whitebird446 but hasn’t she ALSO expressed her frustration that she isn’t facing consequences for her actions? this is our first time reading, not hers. it’s all from her perspective, and she’s legit going insane, but i wouldn’t say the author has tried to victimize her since the first few chapters. they gave us enough backstory to feel an attachment to her- no one will read a book about mindless killing when they hate the protagonist, not most people at least- but beyond that i haven’t gotten the sense we’re supposed to feel like she’s the victim. these characters are complex, and because of that their motivations are also complex. fl isn’t a badly written female lead, in fact the story itself is handled insanely well. sorry. i’m rambling it’s one am lol
The problem with this is that they try to make the fl a victim but fail terribly I am not saying she is not a victim of abuse but the story fails to portray that she keeps on saying that she was killed in her previous life by them and so on for example Isabel ( sorry if I spelled it wrong) she poured tar on her face killing her but question does she seem like the same Isabel that did that I mean if she where that cruel in her previous life why not now and what I hate the most is Raymond he is such a boring character I know it’s explained in the later chapters but idc any more because the further failed to introduce him well in the story Dulian and Isabel I my favourite character they are also victims the same way our fl is a victim their pain is showed and not told if this story is abot a vile mc i get it but the author could have made her at least suffer from consequences of her action otherwise the art is good sorry for yapping to much this are my own opinions
