Bro knocks a poor woman up (given they’re a family of loan sharks, who knows under what circumstances the woman accepted), kicks them out and then in a rare moment of regret takes pity on the child after she had to witness her mom die of an illness the guy could have helped treat. Then wonders how things got that bad. Yep, who knows, bro. 👀💢
At this point the girl was too far gone for dealing with black mages, but honestly this dude deserves to hang more than she did.
