I got confused with the second wish coz the art got haphazard like some neo noir steampunk artwork going on that I missed the whole point…the only thing I got was sacrificing a son for Aina, thats all….
I wonder where is the descendants of Haxentsu? Definitely Mengor is different right?, I did not read on previous chapter if Ranon already made a wish so the crown Prince died? Maybe it was on chapter 87 that is missing here.
So he planned to eliminate the village of Ania because of the rumours or her origins??? That is why the village went on suicide with curse instead of dying in their hands???
But the plagues came from the villagers? How about the effects of his 2nd wish?
I’m in the same boat as the below comments ;_; I’m guessing the king sent knights to the village where the queen grew up, but when they got there the villagers were already dead, apart from that one dying man. The dying man said something that sounded like a curse, probably something like, “The queen will surely abandon you and return to the land”… or something totally different, I don’t understand. ;_;
My guess: So the king got worried and held a meeting where he basically said, “The villagers in the queen’s village were already dead when the knights got there, so it’s not our fault they died. But regarding the cursed box that was found in the village – the box is cause for worry. Let’s just ban all magic and mages in the empire to be on the safe side.”
