Guys, just hear me out. Let’s look from Elodia’s POV, her fiancé brings home another woman, she would obviously see her as a rival. The fact that she looked scary to the MC is because she was jealous, the thing with magic may had been caused on purpose, to scare the MC a little, or she unconsciously realised magic because she got mad. I belive Elodia didn’t try to kill the MC it’s just that the MC is overly sensitive to magic.
That’s my interpretation, i wanted to give a new perspective because i feel like it’s a bit 2D this situation.
