I’m not trying to sound like a know-it-all, but wasn’t her goal from the start to marry the king? She wanted to stop him from marrying that evil red-haired girl, but what was her plan if he had actually said yes? Did she not think of the consequences back then, or is she only realizing now what it takes to get married? Now that the king actually wants to marry her, she’s full of excuses and doubts. Before, she was eager and carefree, hoping he’d say yes, but now she’s struggling to answer, even though she knows how rejection feels. Anyways I know they have feelings for each and they are undoubtedly going to get married. However why didn’t she just say yes then and there?
