Nope. Guy is a jerk. So the “villainess” is neglected by her husband and watches him pine for another woman. So she does self harm to get his attention meaning at the best, she is desperate for love and affection from her husband and at worst she’s a narcissist who has to have attention on her. Either way, there is a mental illness and has done self harm (so far it hasn’t been said she treated any one else poorly). And though she was harmed, he didn’t check up on her until now? I get being forced into a marriage. I’ll accept not loving her and not giving her a bunch of affection. But at the very minimum he could try to live comfortably with her. I am aware it will probably be said that she harrassed either the maids or the FL, but at this moment, the husband is in the wrong.
