So from my understanding, I can be wrong. We can’t trust the writer one pov only from the OG novel perspective because it tend to get bias so we can always be on the fl side on most of the time. So here is it, I think the OG villainess and her husband know that they don’t have a feelings for each other, the husband know she wants a divorce, but couldn’t do it do to certain conditions for him to inherited the dukedom. So back in the OG novel saying the villainess finally get divorced for whole poisoning fiasco, since she got really in that kind of way that could really harm her, that’s why the husband finally divorce her?
