Gotta teach this old lady her place because she seems to forget it. She was always with the prince but didn’t do shit to protect him or improve his life, she’s clearly an obstacle that needs to be gotten rid of.
Basically, she’s part of the reason he’s the way he is. She’s an enabler. She feels bad for him so she over corrects and spoils him. I’ve seen this with parents of disabled chilldren I worked with. They would put up with tantrums and bad behavior because, “Well they’re missing an arm” or “well it can’t be helped, he’s special”, and make excuses for the behavior rather than try to improve within the child’s abilities. Sometimes out of guilt (my younger brother has seizures and my mom babied him the most because she feels like its her fault he was born too early), sometimes it’s because they just don’t think they’re capable with their handicap (whether physical or mental). It’s more for their own benefit than the child’s.
I don’t like the old lady… why does she continue to treat him like a child and don’t teach him to take care of himself. Does she think he is too stupid to learn? If he never learn, he will never grown.
That old lady seems off to me, her actions are to weird for a nanny.
