Trigger warning. I’ve read up to chapter 11, and the male lead gives off a seriously disturbing, predatory vibe, he repeatedly touches the female lead without her consent. I’m tired of stories where the first kiss isn’t consensual or the ML is just plain toxic. I don’t care what tragic backstory they try to give him, trash behavior is still trash, no matter how much mental gymnastics the plot demands.

This manhwa isn’t exactly cute. I personally like it, it’s a little but of a slow burn. Fl is cautious and smart; because she was sold as a slave and abused. She then found work at ML’s castle where he fell in love with her and teased her. She doesn’t accept his love at first, but does eventually. It’s a little bit of a forbidden love bc there is a law against a slave being taken as a wife or concubine to a noble.

It’s a hard reality of human’s trash side in medieval period. ML is a perv and the trashiest as possible. FL is like an empty and expressionless doll, which doesn’t share her thoughts with readers….naah it’s not pleasant at all
