@PrincessBubbleGum you’re so right omg. I’ve been reading the comments of the past few chapters and literally everyone is complaining about the slow pace. I honestly like not knowing the ml’s intentions, makes it more mysterious and intriguing.

Personally I don’t think that there’s a lack if the story- Look at Mincheol for example, he started out with so much potential, had a rough childhood but got good grades and fell for a girl who was in a worse off situation. Only for him to constantly mess up, their marriage becoming strained with the loss of their baby and his inferiority complex- he blames himself for not giving her the life she deserved, having been the reason she has to take up multiple jobs and can never indulge in hobbies or simple pleasures like makeup, nice clothes and so on but instead he accuses her of ruining his life- because he’s a narcissist. He cheats on Na Haesoo, with the type of woman he wished she could become only to realise Na Haesoo was still the woman for him. When you grow up in a financially strained family you tend to seek stability but people who don’t know about such difficulties take too much for granted and that irked him- like with the new girl talking about easily asking her dad to get her a new car, or her wearing and buying luxury goods. While Mincheol may not be a good person- he’s realistic and he makes the story believable. There is a story, not every story is fast paced and some take a while to build up to that one chapter, however, I do think every chapter makes you question the ml, his intentions, his sanity even the fl, her naivety, her fragile backbone- Minchoel started liking Na Haesoo when she started speaking up, fighting back and not tolerating bad behaviour- all if that was because of the ml. Cause and effect- everything happened for a reason and thus this story is quite good in my opinion.

Guys I think he knows haesoo when he was little. She help him when he was having a hard time.maybe her words helped him staying alive. And when he tried to find her he saw she was anything but happy. He owns his life to her and wants to make up the dept. And yes I think his dad is the loan shark that’s how he found na haesoo

I think the same. She is his first love from childhood. Soemwhat she hepled him or his mom when she was in high school.

I don’t think they had a previous life (unless the writer suddenly jumps the shark) I think he’s just a stalker. He noticed her in a few spots, and her appearing in multiple places piqued his curiosity, especially since she didn’t pay attention to him. Everyone always pays attention to him. Then he learned she’s loyal, hardworking, and abused, so she became this beautiful Tragic FigureTM. And few things are stronger catnip to a man than a beautiful woman in need of rescue.

After this chapter, I think that they had a previous life, and this is their second life. If not then how do you think Taeha was targeting exactly Na Haesoo and not any other girl? This story somewhat feels like the Kdrama “Extraordinary You” in which Dan-o, the FL, was inside a novel, but that isn’t the main point. Dan-O, in both of the timelines was engaged to Baek kyung, not that she loved him. She loved Ha ru in both timelines. And the cause of her death in the first timeline was her fiance, Baek kyung. But aside from this, when Baek kyung wasn’t controlled by the story, in those moments, he looked like he had feelings for her, but never realised it until the end of their second timeline and the drama.
However this one is far more twisted and mysterious than that Kdrama. But it is somewhat similar 😦…to me😅.

I love these 2 but this distance between them is getting old, 60+ chapters in and they’re still feeling each other out and tiptoe around each other, can we get some assurance, some solid ground, can they make their relationship official already, I can’t with the meek back and forth.

is this an original story? no novel? waiting every week is just…long… i love the story, really love but, I don’t know it is progressing slower than expected.. maybe that is the appeal for building tension or what but yeah
