im not asking for a perfect, fluffy story or anything of the sort BUT i wanna draw a line when abuse is painted in a cute light. i dont like when authors think FLs should stay with their abusers. conflict is good in stories and characters aren’t expected to be perfect. however, the damage done by the ML is irreparable in my eyes. hes just an irredeemable piece of trash to me. and if the FL takes him back after everything she has gone through, then she is nothing but a doormat.

Huh, so far I really really like it. I’m not sure how it’ll end up after reading the spoiler comment, but I’ve been surprised before how people pick up or miss things from other stories that make a huge difference in the perception of the plot in other stories. Like I’ve read comments after reading a story and realized that someone missed a huge plot point that would’ve made all the different in perceiving whether a character is scum or misunderstood etc. I’ve enjoyed this one enough so far that I think I’ll stick around and see where this goes and maybe the overall background isn’t as dastardly as it sounds.

I can forgive ML acting dickhead to FL due to childhood trauma/PTSD after war/hatred between family/FL’s own fault.
But he was deceived that she cheating on him? And abusing the child since then? Why don’t you leave her alone in the new timeline?

Spoiler* The ml(emperor) has return back to time many time. And the fl is ol fl. In their first life the fl fought in war to break ml curse. Later she died giving birth to their child. But the noble accused her of cheating and the emperor believed them & thought the child was another man’s. So he took a second wife & had a second child and fl & ml’s child was almost as good as abandoned. He was abused mentally by the whole empire and Palace maids. Later when the ml find out that the fl was innocent he regretted it. He went mad. So he turn back time. And here we are in the current lifetime. The ml don’t remember anything from his first lifetime at first. But around the end both ml and fl will remember their first life. And fl will eventually forgive him. And they will had the child that was abused in the first timeline.
Even though the start of the novel and manhwa was really sweet the ending is disgusting. After reading the spoiler i am dropping this🤮
