Yeah I feel so bad for the eldest. He was just a child and grieving just as much but had to set aside his sadness and grieving to pull himself together because if he wouldn’t, who would? Not his siblings who are far too young to even understand death, and not his father who, like many other cold dukes (tho this one’s a count he might as well be a duke in terms of his suppossed influence and looks) just let go of all responsibility as a household head and as a father to young children. But now he’s shouldering all this burden alone to set things right and protect the family his mother loved. A task that his father should’ve been doing btw. The father spends all his time grieving for the mom, while the eldest son had no time to grieve for her because he’s forced to focus on the present to keep the household together. I also thought it’s likely she’s their biological sister but yeah then the timeline wouldn’t make sense. Her OG form looks older than all her siblings when she should be the youngest, so her mother went back in time while pregnant with her and left her to an orphanage? Or someone kidnapped her just as she was born and left her in the past? Seems weird
