I was expecting a trash plot from the ratings but it’s actually not THAT bad? Putting yourself in FL’s shoes, she literally devoted her entire first life to being a good empress, in fact she did her job too well that her trusted friend (the red hair bastard) felt the need to poison her to death, most likely cause she chose the country over him. So I can understand why she doesn’t want to be queen again in her second life, she even still has trauma from being poisoned in her first life. The ONLY thing I wish she would change in her plan is using her authority to bring down the Lamian family (the villains) first, then after that abdicate the throne to her nephew and live happily ever after with ML.
