I don’t think she was entitled or anything. She was a child who was thrown away by one parent, raised by the other to be a queen. She didn’t have a say in that – she was pushed into it by her mother, and when her mother died she felt like she had to continue down that path. Then it sounds like that red-haired guy also pushed her towards it too, and she was the only one who could legally inherit (since she was the only child of the king). She never got to really think about what she wanted, and worked hard at being the best king she could be – she was loved by her people and obviously ignored her own wants and needs for the sake of her kingdom.
After being betrayed by the people around her, she realised that she never even wanted to be king, that she only lived her life for others and not herself. She’s allowed to feel that way. Just because you have money doesn’t mean you have worth in your life. She said she felt lonely, alone, empty – she may have had wealth but she had no time to use it in the ways she wanted, and pressure from all sides to be the best king and that’s gotta be an awfully hollow feeling to realise that everyone YOU loved never cared for you, only wanted you for their own gain and plans and that you wasted every moment of your life for other peoples’ wants.
So, yeah, can’t really blame her for bemoaning her life.
Wow, I agreed with the translator. Lmao, that’s so rich if her didn’t want to be born as something with the highest authority. Well, she might be casted away, but she lived as a sole queen for decades already, rich, RICH.

@silversatyr i agree with you. Well said, everything you explain is how I think the author (not translator) was going for.
