The way shes trying to fix MLs reputation is by telling noblewoman that hes the greatest xyz. If her reputation is in the dirt then any recommendations she could give about anyone would presumably have a negative affect so it makes sense to try to mend her reputation. Much like gaining weight, it’s easier to lose reputation than to gain it especially when dealing with chatty nobles who nothing to do all day but gossip and throw things out of proportion for amusement. Just my take on it as devil’s advocate. What I dont understand is why shes still so intent on ensuring no one ever suspects she adores Kylo unless shes trying to eliminate potential accusations of bias I suppose.
