ok what if lan and Aida are actually souls from this universem, and Lan was the demon lord and Aida was the goddess of light right but because Aida’s body can’t hold magic her memories went to Madeline which means that Lan and Aida are soulmates through and through and they orginally were meant to be together in the novel but because they both died they reincarnated in the modern world before going back into the novel
