   I think it’s mostly because of the fact that they played along with the heroes, and they basically follow the rules that they were supposed to follow.And with that, they’re basically there as cannon fodder to train the heroes that’s why they are still alive.

   Just asking the real questions here: Those “other demon lords”, are they in the room with us? I mean, how the hell did they even survive relying on the demon kings standard, if that only brings ruin? They should have been eradicated… unless, they were not actively following the standard. This would imply, that they are cowards who rather than making things flashy, kidnapping princesses and all that non-sense, they just laid back and only worried about their immediate area and kingdoms, which were too small to request/invest in a hero’s journey. So, my point is… they might not be as strong nor wealthy as our demon king thinks. BUT! We’ll see. 🙂
