To those who doesn’t understand, before the regression of Ivona, she was the only person Claude was comfortable with because he felt like she sees him as himself and not the “owner of the holy sword”. That was the reason why I think he fell in love with her and when he found out that she died he turn back time. Which I think affected his ownership with the holy sword.
It’s so hard to calculate the plot… So your saying ML turn back the time? But didn’t she died in your hands or something (I forgot pls don’t hate me :’) ) or she died in overworking herself and harming her health?
