Yeah but she is a noble lady in medieval period, they we’re expected to be very beautiful and ladylike, and then a scar like that is not ladylike, even now they would still get judged, and bullied for it.
The plot is completely dumb. In the medieval period plastic surgery wasn’t a thing. Any soldier who survived a war would have one or two big scars. And many would definitely have some kind of face scar. Her being branded as evil just because a big darker spot on her face is ridiculous. There were people having much worse injuries loving normal lives, especially if you consider the many face injuries of untreated illnesses.
