spoiler, Lilian is the real daughter. there like a kind of deeper to know. and the hair and her eyes is the same resemblance as the duke, when the butler said to the duke that Lilian has the same color hair and eyes when the duke was a kid and turn to adults when the hair turn black, in the previous chapter, that’s a clue. and we could see when Lilian eyes shine in light in previous chapter is the same color to the duke. and swan is another noble daughter of the nobility princess. they were place the same orphan, place, time. and the locket was truly from Lilian but when someone check the locket pendant in the orphanage, i don’t know if it was the old lady of the orphanage but she knows the answer who the real daughter was. and the guy Winston believe swan was the daughter of the duke because the black hair and the blue eyes. and the white hair guy with blue eyes that made friends with Lilian, is the brother. which was I investigate. through out reading again and again, i deeply tool like Sherlock to know that clues spread and the details

you would think that swan would know what lilyan needs most, which is the duke knowing she’s not his daughter and still loving her
otherwise she’s just going to live the rest of her life telling herself nothing belongs to her and she is deceiving everyone
unless ofc she is his real daughter but then idk what’s going on with the orphanage and swan and whatever
