   If I didn’t read novel spoiler I wouldn’t have known FL and sister are twins. FL was kept away because of her weird destiny while Rose aka OGFL has destiny of making everyone meeting her falling for her charms. If she didn’t walk by herself, she wouldn’t have witnessed her mother death but her father remembered to bring Rose near her mother’s side but not her.

   Her insecurity and lack of confidence begun from this. She felt isolated and unloved, she realized she is just a side character.

   Also, the ML is stupid af. Who wouldn’t misunderstand if ML sends letters both to FL and her sister while at war, letters to sister being much heavier, and gifts her sister precious jewels (its to bribe her to give info on FL, but obviously everyone around them would think its tokens of love) and just normal herbs to FL. Father does the same to FL. He doesn’t bother to get to know her but thinks she is so quiet so she won’t like jewels so gives her walking shoes and gives her sister expensive jewels 💀

   ML doesn’t bother to clear up FL doubts, never directly alludes to his feelings… how is she supposed to know he loves her? He avoids her gaze while dancing with her and locks eyes with Rose (to get pointers on how to woo FL) but to outsiders it looks like he wants Rose, not FL. People speak ill of FL because of this so obviously she would feel heartbroken.

   I’m glad she leaves them all and starts a flower shop, even for a while she was free from those people who judge her because of her quietness and make their own assumptions without caring about how she feels.
