As I could remember from the flashback of past past chapters, he did gave her another chance when the fl was first controlled by the demonic sword and it seems like he’s really hoping for the fl to be cleared of the demonic sword’s control. Is there something more from that past that wasn’t showed or the fl doesn’t know from the past?? Did he already liked her before the demonic sword controlled the fl??
