I don’t know why people who read reincarnation manhwa like this downplay death so much just cause the mc gets to live a second life. Death will never not be a traumatic experience, especially since the Rain’s trauma comes from dying before his comrades, leaving them all behind. It doesn’t take a genius to understand why he’s not moving like a veteran 5th rank mage. He doesn’t have the same level of strength that he did in his past life, plus, with all this mental baggage, it’s very obvious to me why he’s struggling right now. This is his first time since regaining his past memories that he’s facing off a strong monster possessing dark magic since he died, it’ll take him some time to get back to the point where stuff like this doesn’t affect him so badly, give the kid some time ffs.
