Like she said it herself her sis got with the prince precisely because of her unfortunate circumstances in the OG novel, the prince had interest in her because he pitied her and the only one who could help her out of her situation. She knew full well her other brother dedicated his whole life for FL’s happiness but completely ignores it because “well, the plot” but at the same time she’s all “I will change the plot!!” like the cognitive dissonance of it all. Neways even in the OG novel the prince seemed to care more for his idea of justice than the sis’ happiness because each time we’re given glimpses of their scene the sis is crying to him lol.
Girl just let your sweet older brother go with your adopted sister. It’s a bit bit weird but they clearly have a connection… Why would you want him to stay alone? I know you want to uphold the story but when OGML and OGFL got together it didn’t end well for your family. That could be taken as a sign as well.
