From what he’s saying, unless it was mixed up in translation, he has no intention of killing his siblings but instead will get someone to send them far away during the chaos of his coup against his father, making it look like he killed them as well. I guess he’s purposely putting distance between him and his siblings so he doesn’t have any lingering feelings?
From what we’ve seen of his character thus far, he doesn’t strike me as a person who would kill his siblings JUST because they happen to be the children of the two people he wants to kill, otherwise, he’d be showing open hostility to them. It seems more like a reluctance to get closer to them, rather than a hatred for the kids.
It’s on the elder bro too tho, it doesn’t seem like he’s making much of an effort either and he seems to have had no reservations in approaching the kids when he wanted to steal their flowers so I don’t think he’s restricted from approaching them either (and even if he was, does the mother even have the authority considering he’s already shouldering duke work?). It’s a two-way street and the elder bro isn’t making an effort either because ig he’s got his past trauma with the stepmom too high up jumbled in his ass
It always makes me so sad that the little half siblings look up to their older siblings but the mom almost always makes them getting along impossible 😭
