Actually her accepting the deal is understandable , I know that plotting a duke’s son of rebellion with such measly paper/documents dont make sense however it’s the empress where talking about she is still has the upperhand and as the fl stated here, she values her family considering she never had one in her past life.
I’m really disappointed in the FL now for her to actually accept the deal. Does she really think the queen will leave it at that. It’s truly disappointing, but I guess she needed this boost to realize she needs to start taking things seriously.
But still I’m just honestly frustrated at how limited the main characters are, like come on what does the empress have. It’s not like she has a son of her own, yet it feels like the only crown prince and princess of a dukedom can’t do anything. In terms of status the main characters are a good match, why the struggle
