Maybe I’m being too harsh but I don’t really care for the ML in this story even if he’s handsome. His only purpose is to be the rich supporter of our FL, can’t forget his Tragic Backstory™️ too. They try to make him interesting by giving him this “ability” to see the future (either that or he is a regressor), where he was close with FL and definitely had feelings for her, but so far they haven’t elaborated on that to really justify why he’s so loyal to her. He’s way too into her especially when they first meet, and not in the cute way either, to the point that it’s annoying. If I were in FL’s shoes of being a deposed princess and some random guy tried to get chummy with me suddenly, I wouldn’t be able to trust him at all. There is barely any chemistry between the leads and it mostly feels forced. In fact, I feel she has more chemistry with her blonde knight even though they don’t have as many scenes together imho. Overall, the plot itself is ok, it is your typical imperial palace revenge plot. Will probably check back in occasionally just to see how the plot progresses.
