She did but she noticed something was wrong. The prince didn’t have any bags with their stuff bc they’re running away. N also he was wearing fancy clothes which could attract attention, when they’re supposed to keep a low profile. So she got scared and tried to run away from him but captured her.

I think his plan was to make her his bride and make her stay (he probably likes her) and so he scripted this as a way to keep her for himself
