   Honestly this is way better than other maid x duke type of stories unlike a certain COUGH The Mistress Runs Away COUGH, because at least the ML goes through Character Development unlike that sorry of an excuse Kilian.

   If you’ve read Solche’s works, then you know exactly what you’re getting into. A lot of the characters here are emotional terrors and the FL is CONSTANTLY going through it. The story is currently in her riches part in her lil rags to riches story (ie, she’s not suffering outside and near death for the plot), dealing with a man that still doesn’t know how to communicate. If the other characters didn’t exist to act as his emotional translator, I’d say dude still sees her as his maid. The art is gorgeous, so at least you’re getting a visual treat while your blood pressure rises

   Running away from their child’s father must run in her blood. She’s just a struggled FL trying to survive. Albeit she isn’t the smartest or strongest but she’s pretty, kind and has the luck of the plot armour. Entitles if your the MC and the author doesn’t hate you too much and want to see viewers suffer.

   The ml is a lot worse than Matthias and that said a lot, and the fl is so weak it’s pathetic, atleast Layla was stubborn and don’t want to be stepped on just cause she’s a servant
