@AmasingD I’m wondering that also. Also maybe I missed it or wasn’t paying attention while reading but why is the FL claiming she’s not who she is? She is the person the ML once knew so why is she denying who she is to the ML? Why not just say she’s not the real Servaine? Right now I’m kinda confused on what’s going on but I’m gonna continue reading to see if these misunderstanding come to light later on in the story.

This is for those who like really twisted, unhealthy loves and genuinely psychotic and possessive characters. There really aren’t any redeeming features to the characters’ obsessions to make us more comfortable, they’re legitimately insane and twisted at all times, and perfectly happy to harm the object of their “love” to sate their drives. This is your “dead dove, do not eat” warning, so proceed only if you’re ok with all that.

There are only 4 chapters so far, but I think this story is really good. I appreciate that it’s a merman story that isn’t focused on a BL (boys’ love) theme. While I fully support the LGBTQ+ community, I personally prefer stories where the main characters aren’t gay. I say this because if you search up any manhwa, manga, or manhua where the merfolk is a guy it’s 99% all BL for some reason. It’s also refreshing to see a romance story featuring a male merfolk as the main character, as most merfolk stories tend to have female merfolks. I’m not gonna rate for now. I’m just gonna see how the story goes from here.
