Yes, the red haired was doing all of this, but it was on his orders. Someone who did all this shit so far, would not let those people just escape. This is just reaching, and trying to justify the shitty writing.

Okey so what I am getting from reading the comments u guys didn’t pay attention to the story at all this emperor was stupid he had someone who done his own work basically and who MOTHER WAS HOLD CAPTURED to make sure he was ON A LEASH. And why would he kill his mother it was the only thing that was keeping him on leash. U guys are dumber then the emperor. ↓

Why would you not send people to monitor the duke house when you know he’s ur enemy .
And how could all of them escape the palace in the first place just how shit is the palace guard to not be able to stop 4 peole from escaping .

Story just cuts when they escape. For some reason his mother is with them, but he’s away gathering soldiers and they didn’t know about that.
Emperor went to bed with two girls, instead of sending army to search for them.
It seems like author just decided ‘fuck it, i got bored of writing this let’s end the story here’.
Because how will you continue it after Emperor is defeated?
He was the core issue in this story.
Duke becomes Emperor, and enemy country attacks, and some enemy king will want FL as his concubine?

Ummmm okay, I know this is one to read and not think too hard about but how the heck did they make it out of there, why wasn’t the duchy already under siege by what remained of the emperor’s forces since there are apparently the emperor still has men, and why weren’t Edwards and the Duke already working together the moment they escaped to reach out to everyone they thought would ally with them to immediately gather everyone since they basically already declared rebellion at the palace in front of everyone?

Okay, rant over. But I’m really happy they’re actually rebelling! It’s not often you get a good old rebellion to actually happen in these stories!
