For once I wish in a story like this, the FL doesn’t get into a relationship with the ml. Instead, he does end up with Cassandra. FL becomes close with him like a brother, and learns a bunch skills and builds a social circle that help her save her mom when the time is right. I want that history between ML and Cassandra to mean something.

I feel really bad for Cassandra, I know how frustrating that must feel and even though she’s in the wrong for her actions her feelings are totally understandable.
