@Lemonlime so apparently the emperor and empress have been engaged since they were a child and they dont have any romantic feelings just pure friendship so ig the emperor fell in love with estella’s mother and the empress supported this but ofcourse they wouldn’t remember since she died and a part of the tribe – i just read this off spoilers i havent read the novel yet
