I just feel like if this realization took him all of one chapter to work through basically in its entirety, he could have really had that breakthrough earlier.
I get the man’s hurt. But if you want him to be a PoS for a hundred chapters straight, it should require some incremental change to get over instead of having a years worth of breakthroughs in therapy resolved through a book scandal presented as exposition.
We’ll see in the next chapters I guess but Im suprised they seemed to have “resolved” the central conflict of this story in absence of the FL and in such an anticlimactic way.

Deep down, I know you care for her, even if you haven’t realized it yet. But instead of saying it out loud, you keep talking to yourself in your head, and that’s why the distance between you and FL keeps growing day by day…
Please communicate properly with FL before it’s too late—before you end up regretting it in the future…
